Booking Terms

Payment Policy

All rates are GST (15%) inclusive and are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$). All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation Policy

All bookings must be paid for in full during the on-line booking process or as requested in our invoice/payment email to confirm the booking.

Changes to bookings: A $25.00 administration fee may be charged for amendments to confirmed bookings. Any amendments to a booking resulting in a reduction of guest numbers, a late arrival or an early departure will be treated as a cancellation and our refund policy will apply. No date changes allowed within 14 days of arrival or over peak periods - 19 December to 7 February or public holiday weekends.

High Season Policy (1st October to 30th April, school holidays and public holiday weekends).

Refunds: Booking cancellations received more than 14 days prior to arrival date will receive a 75% refund of the amount paid.

No refund will be paid for any cancellations received within 14 days of arrival date.

Low Season Policy (1st May to 30th September)

Refunds: Booking cancellations received more than 72 hrs prior to arrival date will receive a 75% refund of the amount paid.

No refund will be paid for any cancellations received within 72 hrs of arrival date.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking where we cannot provide the accommodation booked. A full refund will be given. Should this occur once you have commenced your stay a proportionate refund will apply.

 

Child Policy

Child ages are from 3 to 13 years inclusive - where child rates are offered. There is no charge for children under 3 years old, except in accommodation when a bed or extra bedding is requested.

Check In Policy

Check-in time is from 12noon for campsites and from 2pm for all accommodation on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with reception where possible. A late checkout fee of $25 per regular site, $30 per beachfront site and $40 per standard cabin/$50 per caravan/$60 per ensuite cabin and Ecotent/Glamping Tent will apply.

If Guests are arriving after hours, we ask that you contact the reception during office hours to make alternative check-in
arrangements.

With the exception of medically certified disability assist dogs, pets are not permitted.

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time from any person if we reasonably believe the person:

  • is not the person named on the reservation
  • is not the person named on the payment card or not be authorized to use the card
  • is not able to pay for any additional charges
  • may cause damage to the property of the Park or other guests
  • may exhibit socially unacceptable behavior
  • is younger than 20 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age
  • is concealing a dog or other unauthorized animal

We reserve the right to eject guests from the Park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules.

No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.
